Key Areas of Focus
WordPress Theme and Plugin Development: Create and customize themes and plugins to meet client needs and enhance functionality.
Website Customization and Optimization: Tailor websites to deliver exceptional user experiences and improve site performance.
Front-End and Back-End Development: Work on both the client-facing side and server-side to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Code Quality and Performance Optimization: Write clean, efficient code while continually optimizing performance for speed and reliability.
Client Communication and Collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their goals and collaborate effectively throughout the development process.
Responsibilities
Website Design and Development: Create responsive and user-friendly websites using WordPress, ensuring they align with client goals.
Theme and Plugin Customization: Customize existing themes and develop new plugins to enhance website functionality for clients.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal performance across devices and browsers.
Collaboration with Designers: Work closely with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into fully functional websites.
Website Optimization: Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices to boost visibility and engagement.
Security Maintenance: Monitor website security and implement updates to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
Client Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshoot issues for client websites, ensuring prompt resolutions.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest WordPress developments and technologies to enhance skills and improve processes.
Must Have:
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher: A degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.
Proficiency in PHP and JavaScript: Solid knowledge of PHP and JavaScript, essential for custom theme and plugin development.
Familiarity with HTML and CSS: A strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles for front-end development.
Experience with WordPress Frameworks: Knowledge of popular WordPress frameworks and libraries, such as WooCommerce and Gutenberg.
Version Control Experience: Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration within a development team.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively and efficiently.
Effective Communication Skills: Proficient in English, both written and spoken, to interact with clients and team members.
Valid Work Permit for Albania: A valid work permit allowing you to work in Albania.
